Maddie's first time in the "no"

Jack went down for a nap so Maddie and I went to play in the "no". Maddie was so excited to be playing outside again, she would raise up both of her arms and say "outside" every ten minutes! We bought her some snow pants and snow boots (they are actually blue camo so Jack can wear them next year) I bundled her up so much that when she fell down I had to help her back up. We had a lot of fun in the "no".

Someone really needs Santa to come!

I was in the living room playing with Jack when all of a sudden I hear Maddie saying Whee! And she came in riding her little people minivan. I was laughing so hard, both the kids were looking at me like I was crazy. Santa please bring Maddie something she can ride on!

Jack Jack found a chocolate pretzel

I went into the kitchen and Jack had chocolate all over his face! He found a chocolate pretzel that had to be on the floor. As you can see, he really enjoyed it!

Snickers' Christmas Lights

I was just trying to take a nice picture of our christmas tree and the fireplace with the stockings. I didn't even know the cat was there until I took the picture looked at it and saw Snickers' christmas lights. I was laughing so hard I couldn't help it. Oh Snickers why does this stuff happen to you? You are so funny and this is why we love you.

My new laundry room!

Ok so when we got married Deidre gave us an old washer and dryer. Adam helped an old lady move and she had two washers and dryers so she gave him a set for helping her move. Deidre took them so we could have them. They were at least 20 years old. They said Design 2000 in like robotic lettering. They worked fine for three years then about 6 months ago the dryer started squeaking, Derek took it apart and fixed it. 2 months later it started squeaking again and once again Derek took it apart and fixed it. A month after that it started not just squeaking, but SCREECHING. Derek took it apart and fixed it again. That lasted a month. Then it started screeching everytime I did laundry, so Derek took it apart and found the part that was making the noise. He called around and found a replacement! So he replaced it. It worked for about a week then I noticed it was stinky! Like when a vacuum belt breaks. So Derek took it apart and changed the belt. I'm not kidding, the very next day it was running fine and I went to take the clothes out and they were still soaking wet! The heat element went out! So Derek called the place and asked how much a new heating element was- 50 dollars. I said um, no let's just get new ones! I'm grateful for my new washer and dryer, I'm grateful for my sexy fix it man and I'm grateful for the three years that our design 2000 washer and dryer worked.

Christmas card pictures

So this morning I decide I'm going to dress my kids up and try to take their picture for our Christmas card. It was a lot harder than I thought it was going to be. I took at least 20 pictures. I think I got some good ones. You'll have to see when you get your Christmas card.

6 things about Jack

1-I can pull myself up to stand. The fireplace is my favorite place to practice.
2-I love to chase Maddie around, even when she tells me to "go away".
3-I hate baby food. I just want real food, but I don't have any teeth yet. My mom lets me have green beans and mashed bananas.
4-I love it when my mom and dad read me stories. They're so funny!
5-I can drink through a straw!
6-I put everything in my mouth from play-doh to Maddie's sandwiches. My mom pulls something out of my mouth everyday.

6 things about Maddie

1-I love to watch movies. I love Cars, Rataouille, The Incredibles, and Fishy movie
2-I love to make cookies. I take my mom over to the kitchenaid and say, "Cookie".
3-I love to play with my baby. My dad has to kiss my baby a lot.
4-I always tell my mom that Jack is a baby and he goes poo.
5-I love bubbles. From bubbles in the tubby, to Jack's spit bubbles.
6-I can count to ten, but I skip 1,4,7, and 8.

I've been tagged!

1-I love cooking. I love to make things that i've never made before. I love making things without recipes. Some of these experiments have turned out pretty good. Others were disasters to say the least.

2-People think I'm a crazy cat lady. I'm really not. I like them, but I love all animals. It's just that cats can pretty much take care of themselves. I don't have alot of time to dote on Snickers, he just comes and gets me when he's out of food. He is pretty funny and cheers me up when I need it.

3- I've locked myself in a car trunk before. How do you do that? Bonnie and I were waiting for Jen in her car. We decided it'd be brillant to fold down her backseat climb in the trunk and jump out to scare her. Sounds smart, right? We climb in and try to hold the seat so it looks closed and all of sudden we hear "click". We sat there panicking in the trunk for five minutes until Jen came and found us.

4-I like to eat cake mix. It's weird I know. I've done it since I was little. Derek used to think it was weird, now when he goes to buy treats he buys cake mix for me.

5-I'm scared of ET. I would have nightmares about him all the time. I would climb in and sleep with Deidre. My mom made me watch it without a pillow (so I couldn't cover my eyes) to see if it would help, but it didn't. You would think now that i'm older i'd be over it, but awhile ago there was a halloween store in the mall and I walked past it and they had a life size ET in the window. I saw it and it made me gasp and my heart beat faster. One of the best movies of all time? Not for me.

6- I've been to Hawaii. I went with Jen. We had so much fun. We climbed to the top of this mountain and you can see the ocean and the coast line. We went to Pearl Harbor on memorial day. It was a once in a lifetime experience. I can't believe we went by ourselves. Then it didn't seem like a big deal, but now I look back and think we were brave. I'm lucky I went with Jen, she's really good at finding things and finding the way back to our hotel!

Snickers is so weird. He doesn't even fit in Maddie's little chair, but somehow he squeezes himself in there! Maddie put her crown and boa on him. I think he looks like a princess!
