Best Friends

Pioneer Day!

We went to the Pioneer Day parade, but it was so hot we left early and got some ice cream! We had a lot of fun and I got a little teary-eyed when I saw all the missionaries in the parade.

Maddie put some "lippy" on herself and on Jack. Don't they look beautiful?

Jack Jack's Headband

Jack was playing in my bathroom when he came walking out wearing this! I was laughing so hard. He's so funny! He is always doing stuff like this.

4th of July

Ok I know this is a little late, but I hardly took any pictures. So these are pictures Carrie took and sent to me. Thanks Carrie!

Maddie is stealing toys from the twins. (Sorry Tiff I didn't see her doing this!)

Carrie brought over Rock Band. (Thanks Carrie!) This is Derek and Keith enjoying it!

A great mommy tip!

If you take a baby who wears diapers to the beach, you know how hard it is to get sand out of those "delicate areas." Well I read in a magazine to put baby powder on and it takes the sand right off. I tried it and it worked wonders! I was so excited, I kept talking about it and my family was like ok, we know! It worked great for me and I just wanted to pass it on and hopefully it will help someone else too!

Bear Lake!

Elmo's Potty Time!

If anyone is potty training or wants to reinforce the ideas, this dvd is awesome! It's really cute and has positive messages such as, Accidents happen, Keep on trying, and It's harder the first time. Maddie and Jack both love it and Maddie has even sat on the potty a couple of times. The best $10 I've ever spent!

The Drive-In

Muffy

We watched Muffy for my friend Bonnie a few weeks ago and we had so much fun with her. I was a little nervous because Maddie is usually scared of dogs, but she was fine. When we first brought Muffy home she was running around sniffing everything and Maddie was chasing her saying, "Mussy wait for me!" It was so cute. Jack loved her to and kept following her around. We even put her in the bike trailer with the kids and Derek pulled them around. I wish I would've taken a picture of it. We had a lot of fun with her and can't wait to do it again next month!

What a mess!

I got Maddie out of the bathtub and forgot to drain it. Well, an hour later Derek came and said, "There is something you need to see." I go into the bathroom and this is what I see. They (I say they because I know that one person is guilty and I'm pretty sure she had help) had emptied all of our bathroom drawers and threw everything in the bathtub! It was so gross. I had to pull out like fifty soggy cotton balls. There were magazines, bobby pins, bars of soap, and all of my hair products. The only drawer they didn't empty was the one with my blow dryer and flat iron, so I'm grateful for that. There are some times with kids when you just have to take a minute, take a deep breath and say it could be worse, this was one of those times. Needless to say, I will ALWAYS drain the bathtub from now on.

This was just outside our front door! We are so lucky to have such an awesome view!
