My favorite surprise

It's no secret that Jack was a little bit of a surprise. My friend Jen just told us that she's pregnant and Kambree will be 13 months old when the baby will be born. Talking to her and knowing exactly how she's feeling has really had me thinking about this past year and how our lives have changed.
Jack is such a blessing and I am so grateful for him. He filled a hole in our family that we didn't know was there. He has brought so much love and happiness into our lives. I don't even want to imagine what life would be like without him. Sure it's crazy and sometimes a little out of control, but I love it and wouldn't change a thing. It was really hard at first, but we have the best family and friends who love us and give us a lot of support. I love you my little Jack Jack and thank you for coming into our family.

Two weeks and One pound to go until big boy car seat!

I can't believe my baby is almost one! He can't wait until he can ride in his big boy car seat. He is getting so big. He says, "ball" and is really close to walking. Every time he does something, Derek says, "Oh, we need another baby." Ha ha ha, not for awhile!
