Help Me!
I love my little sweetie, Maddie, but she's not so sweet at church. I don't know what to do! She loves wandering up and down the aisle during sacrament meeting. I sit at the end of our bench and kind of block her in, but then she starts screaming. I don't know what is more distracting letting her scream or letting her wander up and down the aisles. I stuff the diaper bag full of M&M's, suckers, coloring books, crayons, books, dolls, cookies, cars, puzzles, anything that I can think of. She likes them for just a second and then wants to go out in the aisle. Derek had to speak a couple of weeks ago and she saw him and wanted to go up on the stage with him. I managed to wrestle with her and keep her with me for a while until I just gave up. She went and sat on his lap on the stage for just a second and then wanted to get down. Did she come back and sit with me? No- she went down the other aisle smiling. People- well let's just say older mom's come up to me all the time and say how cute she is and how much they love watching her. And I just say, "Oh thanks, she's a handful." Young couples with NO kids always look at me like, get control of your kid! I know this because I would be thinking the exact same thing if I were them! I might just have to resort to being a "couch sitter" during sacrament meeting. My visiting teaching partner said she brought her daughters car seat in and strapped her in it! I don't want to have to resort to doing that. If any of you mom's have a good idea let me know.

OK, I am scared to say anything because I know it will start happening to me but with the two of them. Cons and Logs do not like to be "contained" either, so I think I am in big trouble. We love ya
I remember those days! One time Jaxon took off running and Joe chased him up the aisle in the middle of the prayer and I looked up and saw them running behind the person praying on the stand. It was so funny. I feel for you. Drug her. Just kidding. Really, I don't know what would work...I'm sorry!
Zach did the same thing and to tell you the truth everyone loved to watch him...he is cute but I think it was that he was carrying his little scooby under one arm. Ryan is another story...I wish he was more like Zach....I could handle that. Ryan needs a volume control or a MUTE button.....do you know where I could get one?
Hi, Tina...hope you don't mind but I have been reading your blog from Bonnie's link. Great blog and kudos on the Sinatra music! I feel a little better about sacrament meeting after reading this! My kids are tough too. Thanks also for the movie recommendations!
